Charles Clyde Ebbets (1905–July 14, 1978) was an American photographer, most famous for his photograph Lunchtime atop a Skyscraper (1932). Ebbets was born in Gadsden, Alabama. He bought his first camera at the age of eight by charging it to his mother's account at a local drugstore.
